Nestled at 1822 Bloor St W in the vibrant city of Toronto, Hannah's Cafe and Bakery is a charming spot that captures the essence of cozy community gatherings and delightful culinary experiences. Just a stone’s throw away from the lush greenery of High Park, this cafe serves as a welcoming haven for both locals and visitors alike. With a menu that boasts an impressive array of breakfast pastries, sandwiches, and savory delights, Hannah's is more than just a quick stop — it’s a destination.
The moment you step inside, you're enveloped by the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries. I couldn't help but be drawn to the Breakfast Pastries Basket (CA$9.00), a delightful assortment that promises to elevate your morning ritual. Each bite feels like a hug, reminiscent of warm days spent with friends and family. For something heartier, the Oatmeal with Fruits (CA$9.00) stands out, nourishing not just the body but the spirit.
Sandwich lovers will be pleased with the selection that includes the Famous Smoked Turkey Sandwich and the Smoked Salmon Sandwich, both priced at CA$9.00. These sandwiches have garnered rave reviews, highlighting their rich flavors and fresh ingredients. The Johnny Boy Sandwich is also a delightful indulgence, showcasing Hannah's knack for crafting memorable lunch staples.
But it's not just the sandwiches that shine. The savory offerings, like the Mini Quiches (CA$9.00), are perfect for a light yet satisfying bite. Whether you opt for the earthy Mushroom Quiche or the classic Onion Quiche, you're in for a treat that elevates your cafe experience to new heights.
Customer testimonials echo my sentiments — those who visit certainly appreciate the carefully crafted drinks and warm service. One visitor noted how the chai latte and matcha latte were expertly prepared, embodying both flavor and warmth. Others have mentioned the delicious Morning Glory Muffin, filled with a delightful mix of raisins, coconut, and carrots, making it a must-try for anyone seeking a cozy, indulgent treat.
Overall, Hannah's Cafe and Bakery embodies a harmonious blend of comfort and flavor, making it a fixture in the lives of those who frequent it. With its cozy ambiance, excellent service, and thoughtfully curated menu, it stands as a testament to what a great neighborhood cafe should be. Cute cafe to drop by, and I have some tea coffee. Grab a bite to eat or some patisserie. Close to high park. It's walking distance. We got a table, no problem. But it did pick after 10 mins. We ordered two sald roughly, which cost us $15.80, which was worth it. The Power Bowl was amazing. I enjoy every single bite. Service was good, and the place was cleaned and tidy.

Discovered this gem during a visit to High Park and decided to take a coffee break. The coffee was superb, and I couldn't resist trying the coconut cake, which was equally delightful. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a perfect spot for locals to hang out with friends."

Delicious pastries with a view of High Park. The morning glory muffin is served hot and it's like like a warm hug after a long walk in the park. It's filled with raisins, coconut, and carrots. The top is crunchy and the best part. The latte with oat milk was also really tasty. Highly recommend!

Our experience at this cozy cafe was enjoyable! We ordered the chai latte, matcha latte, and espresso, and each one was perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. The service was warm, friendly, and impressively quick given how busy it was. A must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates great drinks and excellent hospitality!

A cute cafe right beside High Park with lots of seating and ground floor washrooms, Hannah's Cafe and bakery offers a good selection of wine, caffeinated beverages and baked goods. I came here on a weekend afternoon and it was pretty busy but they still had enough seating for us. This is a good spot to relax after a walk in the park or just to hang out with friends.
